Goal Met

Thoughtful Thursday

On May 29th, 2010, Garrett Bazany’s life was changed as he suffered a serious spinal cord injury, which paralyzed him from the chest down when he was performing flips on a trampoline. Since his accident, he has been unable to walk. That is, until the day of his high school graduation.

For the past three years, Garrett has worked hard in rehab to make sure he met his goal of being able to walk again someday. When Garrett walked across the stage at his graduation, his classmates and teachers were stunned!

This Thoughtful Thursday, Garrett proves that hard work, determination, and faith can help you reach your goals. Garrett will be attending college in the fall to either study engineering or pre-med in order to someday help develop technology that will help those with spinal injuries to learn how to walk again.
