The beginning of March means it’s time to think about Easter! We love to think outside the box at Step2, so we decided to go BIG for Easter. Why settle on a regular-sized Easter basket when you can transform a toddler water table into a giant Easter basket for your kids instead? That’s right, we’ve transformed some of our favorite Step2 water tables into larger-than-life Easter baskets! Not only does your little one get a larger basket, these Easter baskets can also double as a fun gift that’s perfect for the upcoming Spring and Summer weather.
Ready to turn your current (or new!) water table into a giant Easter basket? Here are some tips to make yours come to life.
- Fill the water table base with colorful Easter grass or crinkle paper to create a cushion for the other items.
- Add as many or as little Easter eggs as you want! You can fill the eggs with a variety of trinkets and treats tailored to your little one’s interests, or the theme of the basket itself.
- Next, include some fun toys for your child! Going for a theme? Include books, temporary tattoos, dress-up outfits, sports balls, dolls and action figures… the possibilities are endless!
- Prep for outdoor play time with toys like sidewalk chalk, bubbles, water toys, and more! The accessories that come with the water table are great for stuffing the Easter basket, too.
